Overview
Lefferts Gardens Montessori (LGM) is a family-run, independent AMS-member school that has operated in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens since 1986. It serves children from toddler age through the elementary years (about 2–10), which — like the handful of other through-elementary Montessoris in Brooklyn — lets families stay past the early years.

Toddler, 3–6 Primary, and a lower-elementary program, in a small community-rooted setting reflecting nearly four decades in the neighborhood.
