PrivateSchoolReview publishes what it calls a “2026 Profile” for Ideal Montessori. Do not rely on it. That page has become a chimera of two unrelated schools: it has swapped in Elhaam Academy's website and social-media handles while still carrying Ideal's dead phone number, and it repeats an “AMI member” line that traces to a stale self-reported federal survey field rather than to any AMI record. Ideal does not appear in AMI's directory, which lists only four schools in the whole of New York State.
It is the most tangled aggregator record we have found, and it is presented with a current-looking date. If you are researching any school, this is the failure mode to watch for.

For comparison: across all 18,161 DOHMH child-care cases heard at OATH, 63.1% were sustained, 21.3% ended in default and 13.1% were dismissed. Most citations concern records, repairs and paperwork — staff immunisation files, premises upkeep, sink water temperature, background-check timing — rather than incidents involving a child.
